Dave Wanamaker’s previous band Loveless (2001-2006), released the LP Gift to the World (Q Division) in 2004. The album received critical acclaim from many publications, including The Boston Globe, Rolling Stone, and Spin Magazine. Loveless disbanded in 2006. Prior to that, Wanamaker was the principal songwriter and guitarist for the rock band Expanding Man (1992-2000). The band recorded one independent EP and two full-length records: Head to the Ground (Columbia) produced by Mike Denneen and Love and Disaster (Polydor/Universal) produced by Matt Hyde. The band received major airplay with its first single “download” which reached 22 on the billboard rock chart and received a placement in the film The Cable Guy. They toured heavily with other notable Nineties bands such as Tonic, Matchbox 20, Stone Temple Pilots.
